Spring is here and with the season comes many lovely flowers. This includes Demel Patisserie's candied violets and candied violet ice cream, which Empress Elisabeth "Sissi" of Austria also loved. Sisi, who was celebrated last year on the 120th anniversary of her death, had such a strict diet that the beautiful flowers often replaced a meal! ~Barbara
