Budapest Ballet

Founded by Michael Kropf in 1994, the Budapest Ballet has been active since at home and abroad. The group has performed dance sequences at the Hungarian State Opera House during their opera performances, including Bolero, an audience favourite. In May, 2005, the ensemble was formally recognized by the Lord Major, and given its name to represent the nation’s captial. Currently led Gergely Toth, the group’s lead dancer is Edit Jalits, and the ensemble is held in high regard in France, Germany, Austria, South Korea, USA, Canada, Turkey, Mexico, and Hungary.
